Terms and Conditions

The rules of the house

Last updated 1 October 2026

These terms cover your use of Blind Draw — the website at blinddraw.app, the Spoiler Shield browser extension and the Blind Draw app. By using Blind Draw you agree to them. Please read them; they’re short.

1. Who we are

Blind Draw is run by Blind Draw Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (“Blind Draw”, “we”, “us”). You can reach us at [email protected].

2. What Blind Draw is

Blind Draw is a curated index of classic sports matches. We choose a match for you at random from the sports, era and length you pick, show you only what was known before it started, and send you to watch it on YouTube. We do not host, copy or stream any video. Every match plays from the official channel of the competition, broadcaster or club that published it, under YouTube’s own terms. Those videos belong to their owners, and they can change or remove them at any time; when that happens the match may stop being available in Blind Draw.

What you are buying. A paid plan is a subscription to the Blind Draw service — our software, our index and our draw. It is not a purchase, rental or licence of any video, broadcast or sports footage. Every match in Blind Draw is free to watch on YouTube without us; what we provide is choosing it for you, keeping the result sealed, and the tools around it. If a particular video becomes unavailable, that doesn’t mean you haven’t received what you paid for, although we’ll always try to replace it with another source or another match.

3. Your account

4. Free draws and paid plans

5. Payments

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. When you buy a plan you also agree to Paddle’s buyer terms, which are shown at checkout.

6. Refunds and your right to cancel

You can get a full refund of any payment within 14 days of it being taken. The details are in our refund policy. This doesn’t affect your legal rights as a consumer.

7. The Spoiler Shield

The Spoiler Shield is a free browser extension. While you watch a Blind Draw match it changes how YouTube’s page looks in your own browser — hiding titles, thumbnails, comments, chapters and suggestions — and it can move on to the next match you’ve queued. It doesn’t change anything on YouTube itself, and on ordinary YouTube videos it stays out of the way. We do our best to catch everything that could give a result away, but YouTube changes its pages often and we can’t promise that nothing will ever slip through.

8. Using Blind Draw fairly

Please don’t copy, scrape or resell our index of matches or our match write-ups, try to get round the free-draw limit, interfere with the service, or use Blind Draw for anything unlawful. If you do, we may suspend or close your account.

9. Our content

The Blind Draw name, design, match selection and write-ups are ours. Match footage, names, logos and trademarks belong to their respective owners; Blind Draw is not affiliated with or endorsed by any league, competition, club, broadcaster or YouTube.

10. Availability and changes

We work to keep Blind Draw running and the index growing, but we can’t guarantee it will always be available, or that any particular match will stay in it. We may change or improve the service. If we ever close Blind Draw for good, we’ll refund the unused part of any paid plan.

11. Our responsibility to you

We’re responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of us breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care and skill. We’re not responsible for loss that wasn’t foreseeable, for business losses, or for problems caused by YouTube, your device, your browser or your internet connection. Nothing in these terms limits our liability where the law doesn’t allow it, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.

12. Ending your account

You can stop using Blind Draw at any time, and ask us to delete your account by emailing [email protected]. Cancelling a paid plan is covered in section 4.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If a change matters, we’ll tell you by email or on the site before it takes effect. The date at the top shows when they last changed.

14. The law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live elsewhere in the UK, you can also bring a claim in your local courts. If you’re a consumer in the EU, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country you live in.

Something not right? Email [email protected] — we’d much rather sort it out with you directly.
